5 Questions with Troy Massa
Glamour South Africa: Where do you think African fashion is heading in the next 5 years?
Troy Massa: Africa as a continent is a land that has a majority population being youth. With that said, African fashion has just begun! The use of prints, textile and abstract designs will soon be seen in public internationally. I believe that we will begin to see more and more African designers’ pieces on the mainstream media and red carpets from Hollywood to Paris!
Glamour South Africa: What advice do you have for young creatives from the African continent?
Troy Massa: Never give up, try and try again. Failure is not the end all be all. Failure is rather a process of learning so you can correct the challenge, so you can ensure that you are ready for the next steps to your progress!
