Ankara Photo of the Day: Mykal Monroe, Janelle Monáe & Lupita Nyong’o at Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o ‘Coming To America’ Joint Birthday Party

Over the weekend, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira, her co-star in the highly anticipated film Black Panther, threw a joint birthday party in honor of their 34th and 39th big days.

 

The theme to mark the occasion was the movie Coming to America. #WakandansInZamunda was the hashtag for the celebration, referencing the fictional African nation in Marvel comic books.

On Instagram, Lupita posted a photo with Janelle Monae and her bestfriend Mykal Monroe.
