Editorial: “Felabration” by Dudu Images x Chantle White

As of October 15th, Fela Kuti would have been 78-years-old and in Felabration, photographer Dudu Images collaborated with wardrobe stylist Chantle White for a Nigerian themed photoshoot. The models are wearing mixed ankara print iro and buba outfits with headwraps and face paint similar to Fela Kuti’s dancers. The background for the editorial was shot on the streets of London and the clash with the formal jewelry and sneakers give it a formal streetwear vibe, which I love. See the 19 photo spread below.
