Festival: 13th Annual African Festival, “FestAfrica 2015: African Health in the Community”

The 13th annual cultural festival “Fest Africa” will be held this weekend Saturday August 8th & Sunday August 9th from 1p to 8p on both days at Veterans Plaza – 1 Veterans Place Silver Spring MD 20906.

FestAfrica is hosted by the Afropolitan Youth Association and has grown to become DMV’s largest African Festival with over 8,000 people in attendance. The festival will feature music by local Artist, international African Artist, dance performances, African cuisine, vendors, games for children, health fair, career fair, tourism fair and many more. FestAfrica 2015 Theme: “African Health in the Community.”
Can’t wait to attend FestAfrica this year! I will be there on Sunday! See everyone there!
