Actress Victoria Rowell attended the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Victoria attended this year’s Emmys in a custom made ankara print gown.
The ankara print fabric she is wearing has photos of the 44th President of the United States, President Barack Obama.
It also has the Ghanaian word “Akwaaba” which means “welcome” and adrinkra symbols Gye Nyame and Ohene Adwa. Gye Nyame means “only God”. Ohene Adwa means “the king’s stool”.
When media inquiries on the red carpet implored the question of her designer of choice, she proudly replied, “a statement.”
How do you feel about Victoria’s statement gown?
