As most of you might know, ankara print fabrics are colorful cloths that are primarily associated with the African culture because of it’s motifs. Even though ankara print fabrics are associated with the African culture, it’s origins are not authentically and wholly African.
A few weeks ago, I linked up with Eugene Maddy of Get Boxed for an ankara print editorial photoshoot! The photoshoot was an assignment for a photography class at school his school. He received an “A” on the assignment and a feature in the school’s art gallery! See photos below:
